Here is a sample of the type of audio story we're looking for.

• Remember to keep it to about 5 minutes long. Practice reading or telling your story several times until it comes off nice and smooth. We can edit out any flubs, oohs and ahs, but do your best.

• If you're recording into a video camera, hold the microphone about 2 feet from your mouth and point it right at you. We don't care what the video looks like, just the audio.

• Remember the ambient sound will be recorded as well as your voice. Think about whether you want to hear total silence, singing coquis, crashing waves, a noisy bar, an active kitchen, etc. behind your story.

• You absolutely positively must read, print, sign and mail the Release Form before we can even read your submission. No exceptions!
